Electric Motor Winder

Union positions up to $30 hour are available for highly qualified electric motor winders. Plus, great retirement and benefits plan. Frequent overtime also available.

A minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in electrical and mechanical repair, motor shop servicing or completion of an accredited EASA or military training program preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Rewind various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment
  • Inspect various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment for damage and evidence of electrical malfunctions
  • Ability to document as instructed by superiors
  • Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis
  • Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear

Knowledge of industrial electro-mechanical systems is very beneficial, including:

  • Electric motors
  • Basic knowledge of most industrial electro-mechanical equipment
  • Knowledge of random and form wound AC electric motor winding
  • Knowledge of DC electric motor field winding and DC armature winding
