Kyson Pflum, a homeschool graduate, has received the Claud Thompson Decatur Industrial Electric Scholarship to help cover educational related expenses for the upcoming school year. He will be attending Millikin University, completing a double major in Agribusiness and Accounting. Due to his completion of 16 dual-credit courses through Southeastern University, Hillsdale College, and Richland Community College, he will finish Millikin in 3 years.

“I don’t shy away from hard work, and I do plan to continue working as much as I am able while attending college, but the Claud Thompson scholarship will help me pay for a portion of my college expenses,” said Kyson. “I appreciate that tremendously.”
Kyson lives in Central Illinois with his parents and three siblings – with two more on the way that his parents are currently in the process of adopting from Colombia.
